Our ambition
Through our patients’ stories we see the burden that cardiometabolic diseases pose on millions across the country. Our ambition is to help change clinical practice to transform patient lives by jointly addressing their cardio-renal-metabolic risks and creating a seamless disease management pathway for treatment.
We advance science to develop innovative treatments with an aim to modify and potentially halt the natural course of these conditions, regenerate organs and restore function to improve and protect the lives of patients. We aim to raise awareness of common comorbidities and inspire healthcare professionals and patients to take a holistic approach towards disease management.
Our portfolio
To address unmet needs in cardiometabolic disease treatment, we have invested in a robust portfolio of therapies and treatment options across CV, renal and metabolic diseases that support earlier intervention to reduce risk factors and potentially slow disease progression. Our pipeline research builds on the broad clinical evidence from our established therapies and clinical trial programs, with the aim to reduce the burden of these conditions.
This is grounded in ambitious, global, randomized clinical trials and transformational real-world evidence research. Our approach empowers us to gather vital insights into patient needs and clinical practice routines to develop targeted treatments that are optimized for both patients and healthcare professionals.
Within metabolic diseases, we aspire to move healthcare professionals to treat beyond A1C management, to prevent early cardiovascular and renal complications. And through our CV portfolio, our objective is to help eliminate CV risk factors and stop disease progression by building on the success of and evidence for our established therapies.
